Guitar Magazine online and «Pluri Art» Center
announce joint event – first interactive
online master-class with guitar
and button accordion concert.
Guitar Magazine
project was launched in 2007; for the day, it is recognized
among the most competent online guitar resources. Since 2008,
Guitar Magazine
arranges unique concert programs of the Russian star players of classic
and jazz guitar, with on-air broadcasting on the Internet. «Pluri Art» Center started in 2007 as well. Its first
project - «Pluri Art Ischia» Festival took place in Forio town of the
Italian Ischia island. That time, the musicians staged six opera
performances, in framework of Opera Ischia Festival, with the musical
background provided by «Pluri Art» international festival orchestra
including musicians from America, Europe and Russia. «Pluri Art» Center also provides producing and organizes master-classes
of various musical instruments.

and «Pluri Art» met each other at the concert broadcasting of
Artem Dervoed guitarist, performing jointly with the Pluri Art president
Yuri Medianik
and the Emotion-orchestra project. At the concert, both “real attendant”
and online audiences appreciated the magnificent ensemble of this two
instruments – guitar and button accordion. Now we come up to continue
the collaboration in another ways as well.
Thus, April 22, 2009 (at 19.00 GMT+3.00), Guitar Magazine and «Pluri
Art» websites will broadcast online master-classes hold by
guitarists, teachers, international contests’ laureates Artem Dervoed
and Evgeni Finkelstein, and button accordion players, teachers,
international contests’ laureates Yuri Medianik and professor of
Gnesin Musical Academy Fridrich Lips. Upon the master-class closing, the
musicians will perform several compositions on-air.
Four representatives for each instrument will be selected for a 20
minutes personal master-class to be hold for each of them. The
participants’ selection is organized in two rounds.
For free participation in the master-class, applicants are encouraged
to provide their guitar or, respectively, button accordion playing, an
audio- or a video record. We inquire the records’ publication on the
Internet, with a link provided to the master-class organizers. In case
of an applicant being unable to publish the record, he/she should
provide the master-class organizers with a digital format of the record,
so that the organizers publish the material on the Internet.
Deadline for records providing is April 10, including the date.
Public voting round starts after the date. Until April 15, everyone can
listen to the records provided, appreciate them and give votes to this
or that material.
After April 15, the master-class organizers will select the winner
participants. The internet-voting results will be considered for the
selection. Names of the winners will be posted on the Guitar Magazine
and «Pluri Art» websites.
